iOS (For iPhone Users)
– The current version of iOS is iOS 18, released on September 16, 2024.
– The latest update is iOS 18.3, rolled out on January 27, 2025.
Only iOS 18 is receiving security updates. Support for iOS 17 ended on November 19, 2024. If your device is still running iOS 17, it’s vulnerable to hackers and scammers—update immediately!
WhatsApp will no longer work on devices running iOS 15.0 or earlier starting February 2025. Ensure your iPhone is updated to at least iOS 15.1.
For Android Users
– The latest stable version is Android 15, released on September 3, 2024.
– The first Developer Preview of Android 16 launched on November 19, 2024, with the stable release expected in Q2 2025 (June).
Starting January 1, 2025, WhatsApp no longer supports devices running Android KitKat (4.4) or earlier. Devices must run at least Android 5.0 (Lollipop) to use WhatsApp.
Windows Operating System
– Windows 10: Support ends on October 14, 2025. After this date, only paid Extended Security Updates (ESU) will be available for up to three years.
– Windows 11: Actively supported with regular updates and security patches.
macOS
– Versions older than macOS Monterey (12.x) are no longer supported as of September 2024.
– Support for macOS Ventura (13.x) will end in late 2025.
– The latest versions, macOS Sonoma (14.x) and macOS Sequoia (15.x), are actively supported.
